Meet the Team
Kevin and Marcia Morgan have been running Nepgill Park for over 30 years, creating the award-winning Park it is today.
Nepgill Park has been developed with both conservation and community at its heart. In 2019, the Park was awarded a gold status David Bellamy Conservation Award. "We were absolutely thrilled," says Marcia, "Our focus has always been on creating wildlife areas to make the Park a beautiful place to live." |
Recognitions & Awards
Nepgill Park has been developed in harmony with nature. Its wild areas provide important habitat and sanctuary for wildlife including hedgehogs and red squirrels, which regularly visit the feeding stations located around the park.
The Park's hedgerows and woodland areas provide a rich habitat for song birds and our pond is popular with mallard ducks. We erected an owl nesting box in 2019, providing a nesting site for barn owls to raise their young safely and securely. Recently, we introduced bee hives to one of our wildflower areas with assistance from the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA). Our resident bee-keeping team conducts regular inspections. To ensure a peaceful atmosphere on park and to preserve habitat for wildlife, certain pets such as cats and dogs are not allowed on park. |
